A word from the chairman…

I have looked at this page for a long time not knowing how to write this or what to write. Our club president Isobel Peak has stepped down from the club and asked for the name of Peak to go with her . A committee meeting was held and a majority decision was made to carry on with the club with a new name which was legally changed last month. Now that membership is up for renewal, we hope that you will continue to support us as ‘Classic Autotest Motorclub LTD.’- CAM.
This has not been an easy time, as a nephew of Isobel, a founder member, now chairman and with a large family membership in the club. Isobel and I have been there together from the club was formed 9 years ago, and attending every meeting since. She will be greatly missed . The history of PPMC will always be there from myself and Arthur talking in my garage, over £40,000 to local charities and the young and old involved in the autotest and Classic car scene . CAM plan to carry on what PPMC started, hopefully with your continued support. I have made a lot of friends over the years, and I would like to personally thank the club members for there support, and to respect Isobel’s decision, and the elected committee’s vote. There will be more information, and a chance to answer any queries at our January meeting on the 3rd.
Boo McCurry. Chairman
